5 Course Meal with Wine Tasting in Ann Arbor!

I had a tasting in Ann Arbor MI and the host has a friend who is the chef at The ChopHouse.  He knew the wines I was bringing so had his menu set up a round them.  He started with goat cheese and flat bread and I had the Sauvignon Blanc from CA--He then prepared a salad with Mexican oranges and roasted sugared walnuts and I had the Bordeaux Sec.  The soup was a ox tail broth with a bit of seasame oil and chives (delicious) and wonderful with the Duca Di Monebello as well as the Monterey Syrah.  We then proceeded to lamb chops on the grill with parsnips and the Piemonte Barbera was great.  We finished with beef wellington and the So African Cabernet Sauvignon.  They insisted I eat with them so course I didn't say no.  It was a great experience!
