Product FAQs
Where are Wines for Humanity wines crafted?
Our wines are sourced from boutique wineries around the world and in the state of California. All of our blends are crafted exclusively for Wines for Humanity.
How can I make changes to my order?
Simply contact your Wine Advisor to make changes to your order, but only before it ships. While some pending orders may be canceled or changed, after the order ships, no changes may be made.
What is your return policy?
We go above and beyond to earn your complete satisfaction with every product you purchase from Wines for Humanity. We will happily refund any unopened bottles that you wish to return. Returns for exchanges or credit are accepted only within 60 days of purchase. All returns must be in salable condition.
Please note that Wines for Humanity is not responsible for shipping charges incurred due to misdirected or returned shipments. If a purchase is returned for an incorrect address or three failed delivery attempts, you will be responsible for the additional cost of reshipping ($10).
We pride ourselves in perfect taste and quality and will take back any wine that does not meet these standards.

How much is shipping?
Our handling cost is just $17.90 (3 bottle minimum) shipped directly to your home or, if you order at a Wine Tasting and ship to the Host, shipping is 14% of the order and capped at $17.90.
Legal Notice
All wine and wine products are sold from a licensed retailer and title passes to the buyer in that state. By placing the order, you authorize us to have the product shipped on your behalf by common carrier or our personnel for delivery to your selected destination.
Delivery of Alcohol Packages
Delivery can only be made to an address where an individual at least 21 years old can sign for the shipment during regular business hours. Products can be shipped to a place of business or residence. We cannot ship to PO Boxes or APO Boxes.
Purchaser and recipient must be over the age of 21 to purchase alcohol. For all alcohol orders, an adult 21 years or older must be available to sign for the order. Warning: Certain states expressly prohibit the direct importation of alcohol and violation can be punishable as a misdemeanor or felony.
Age Verification
By placing an order, you verify that you and the order recipients are at least 21 years old. At the time of delivery, the order recipient must sign an age verification receipt stating that they are at least 21 years old and must present a valid driver’s license, military ID, passport or State ID for identification.
Credit Card Charge
We usually ship within 2–5 business days from the receipt of your order. In the rare event that we cannot fulfill your order, we will contact you. We try not to ship product over a weekend, so if your order is received and cannot be delivered by Friday, it will be shipped the following week. Shipments may also be delayed due to weather conditions. Rules and regulations of common carriers may prevent us from accepting orders for the shipment of alcohol products. Remember, all shipments of alcohol require a signature by an adult 21 years or older for delivery.
Does Wines for Humanity ship to my state?
Currently, we can ship wine purchased at a Wine Tasting, online or by phone to the following states: AZ, CA, CO, DC, FL, IL, LA, MD, MI, MO, NC, ND, NE, NH, NV, NY, OH, OR, PA, VA, VT, WI and WV.

Why should I join the Wine Club?
Our Wine Club members enjoy three wines curated by our Founder and shipped direct to you every quarter, for the special bundled price of just $59 per shipment. It’s simply the best way to sample the variety of our cellar.
What are the terms of my Wine Club membership?
Your subscription consists of four shipments of three bottles, for a total of 12 bottles per year. Each quarter, you will be billed the special bundled price of $59, and you may cancel your membership any time after the first year.
Wine Tasting FAQs
Why should I host a Wine Tasting?
Because our wines give people a reason to celebrate––all the while giving back to your community! Gather your family and friends for an in-person or virtual Wine Tasting and leave the details up to your Wine Advisor. When you do, you’ll enjoy six different wines and earn top-shelf Host Rewards like exclusive discounts and a donation of 9-12.5% of your sales to the charity of your choice. Your Wine Advisor will even suggest optimalfood pairings for your selected wines and help you set the mood for your event.
Where can I host a Wine Tasting?
It’s really up to you! Your Wine Tasting can happen in your home, at your business or even virtually, where you, your Wine Advisor and your guests attend online from the comfort of their own homes. Your Wine Advisor will take care of all the details based on your preference. Please note that we cannot legally conduct tastings to the general public.
Can I host a virtual Wine Tasting?
Absolutely! Your Wine Advisor makes it easy and fun––and you get to sip wine and support your charity of choice from the comfort of home.
How much is a Wine Tasting?
Our Wine Tastings are $55 plus tax for the five-bottle Seasonal Tasting Set or $65 plus tax if you would like to choose your own five bottles.
How do I order wine for my Wine Tasting?

How long may I keep my Wine Tasting open?
Your Wine Tasting will automatically close 21 days after your event. Keep in mind that most Hosts wish to close their Wine Tasting the day of the event, so their guests receive their wine sooner––and their charity of choice receives their donation faster!
Can I choose any nonprofit charity as the beneficiary of my Wine Tasting?
Absolutely! Although our core mission is the prevention of homelessness in families with children, we empower our Hosts to support their favorite charity, which may or may not be a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization.
How and when will my charity receive their donation?
Wines for Humanity will donate 9-12% of the sales from your Wine Tasting. We will mail a check to your charity of choice one month after the close of the current quarter.

What is a Wine Advisor?
A Wine Advisor is an entrepreneurial individual who joins the Wine for Humanity family by starting their own business. With the help of their sponsor, new Wine Advisors launch and grow their businesses at in-home or virtual Wine Tastings by promoting their love of our exclusive wines, our growing business and our philanthropic mission. Our Wine Advisors love that they can enjoy and share our exclusive wines, all the while give back to their favorite charities or support our corporate mission to prevent homelessness.
Do I need to be a wine connoisseur to get started?
No experience is needed! In fact, many of our Wine Advisors are new to the industry–-they love that they can turn their passion for wine into a profitable business. We make it easy to start learning and earning. Not to mention affordable: We’d love to welcome you to the Wines for Humanity family for just $124! How much does the Business Launch Kit cost?
Our Business Launch Kit is just $124 and includes everything you need to launch your business with polish, including 18 crystal tasting glasses and carrier; an insulated bag to transport wine to Wine Tastings; a corkscrew; pourers; marketing materials; Wine Tasting event notecards; and the Seasonal Set of Wine, which includes five bottles that ship separately once you set your launch date.
Do Wine Advisors have to pay any additional fees?
In addition to your Business Launch Kit, a Wine Advisor pays a small technology fee monthly ($12.00 ) or annually ($120.00), which covers the cost of your personalized replicated website, where customers can place orders and join your team; access to the Wines for Humanity back office, which houses all the tools you need to run your business; access to additional business trainings and world-class wine education; and much more.
How do I make money as a Wine Advisor?
There are two ways to earn an income as a Wine Advisor:*
- Earn 17%–20% commission on your personal sales from Wine Tastings and online purchases within any given calendar month.
- Earn additional income by building a team of Wine Advisors and mentoring and developing them to succeed through selling and sponsoring new Wine Advisors of their own.
Can I promote wine on my social network?
Yes, and we give you the support to inspire your success! Simply talk up your love of our wines, our mission and your growing business while linking your followers to your personalized replicated website. You are the ultimate inspiration!
How much can I expect to earn?
Earnings vary from Wine Advisor to Wine Advisor––and the more you sell and sponsor, the greater your income potential.*
How many hours do I need to work?
The beauty of a Wines for Humanity business is that you set the pace. You are your own boss and you decide whether you work your business part-time or full-time. It’s the ultimate flexibility for any lifestyle.
Do I have to purchase or keep inventory?
No, we ship all wine orders directly from our warehouses to you, your customers and your Hosts.
Do I have to sell a certain amount every month?
To remain an active Wine Advisor and qualify for incentives, you must sell $250 each month. Rest assured, staying active is easily achieved––the average Wine Tasting is nearly $1,000.
Will I get the help I need to succeed?
We treat our Wine Advisors like family. From Day One, you’ll receive tools and training you need to launch your business with confidence––and from the comfort of your own home! At every step of your journey, you’ll have access to world-class wine education and content at no additional charge. Our Wine Advisors even enjoy exclusive discounts on our award-winning wines and can earn up to 24%* commission on customer orders.
Your sponsoring Leader will inspire you to earn additional perks like incentive trips and rewards, all the while provide ongoing mentoring as you grow your business. We also support you with monthly virtual training calls; regional and annual events; and a back office rich in resources like courses you may take online, on your time.
What happens if I decide being a Wine Advisor is not right for me?
While we’d hate to see you go, we understand that being a Wine Advisor is not for everyone. If and when that time comes, you may resign in writing to assist@winesforhumanity.com. Upon receipt, we will either discontinue your monthly membership fee or refund the prorated balance of your annual membership fee, depending on the payment plan you selected.
